Best public default: use the browser app at app.tenancyops.com unless a client specifically asks for a desktop app. These downloadable installers are staged for convenience while formal macOS notarisation and Windows code-signing approvals are completed.

What the desktop app does

The desktop app opens the same protected TenancyOps product at app.tenancyops.com inside a focused native app shell. It does not create a separate customer database on the client computer and it does not replace the live web app.

That means agencies can choose the browser or desktop app without splitting work, accounts, permissions, evidence, messages, or support processes.

Verification

Each generated desktop download is recorded in a machine-readable manifest with version, size, SHA-256 checksum, and release status.

Public release boundary

Before pushing desktop downloads hard in sales material, complete macOS notarisation and Windows code signing. Until then, the browser app remains the cleanest public onboarding path and the desktop app should be described as a preview convenience.
