Best public default: use the browser app at app.tenancyops.com unless a client specifically asks for a desktop app. These installers are staged for convenience while formal macOS notarisation and Windows code-signing approvals are completed.
What the desktop app does
Opens the same protected TenancyOps product at app.tenancyops.com inside a focused native shell. It does not create a separate database on the client computer. Browser and desktop users work from the same accounts, permissions, evidence, and support model.
Verification
Each desktop release is recorded in a machine-readable manifest with version, size, SHA-256 checksum, and release status. Open the download manifest.
Prefer the browser? Use that as the public default.
Until notarisation and code-signing complete, the browser app at app.tenancyops.com remains the cleanest public onboarding path.
